Default What colour is it?

Does anybody know where I can find the colour code on my red M-reg Favorit? I don't see anything resembling a code on the VIN plate or mixed in with the chassis number.
There can't have been too many choices of red in 1994/5 so could anyone hazard a guess at what colour it might be? I found the following codes & colours but I dunno which is mine...

F3A = SKODA 8302 APOLLO RED 1993
F3B = SKODA 8161 SPORTLINE RED 1993
F3D = SKODA 8290 ROMANTIC RED 1994
F3J = SKODA 8530 PAPRIKA RED

TIA

I have apollo red which is sort of a dark red. My car actually says under the bonnet in the engine compartment somewhere on a sticker which says in plain english words what colour it is. I think it is on the drivers side just below the windscreen. This is on an L reg.

Thanks for that. I'll have a look next time I'm near the car. Mine is a bright red which has faded to a sort of orange in places. A dose of T-cut brings it back to life for a few months.

Cheers,
Simon H

My guess is that apollo red is ruled out by the orange look. Perhaps it is paprika red as that is sort of an orangey red colour?!

Do you have a sticker on the boot floor?

No idea if there's a sticker on the boot floor. It's not exactly the first place I'd think of looking... I need to sort out all the junk in the back anyway, and I've got a tow bar to fit sometime so here's my excuse to get the job done!

Show us a pic of your car and we'll tell you the colour. Sportline Red was the most popular red on M reg Favorit's.

If you do have a sticker on the boot floor it will have the paint code printed on it.

I don't have a pic to hand, but I'd hazard a guess that it's the same colour as this pick-up on Ebay:
eBay.co.uk: 1993 SKODA FAVORIT FOREMAN II PICK UP (item 110118271271 end time 29-Apr-07 18:06:57 BST)

That looks like Apollo/Regal Red which is a dark marron red as apposed to Sportline red which is brighter.

Think mine must be Sportline Red 'cos it ain't ever seen maroon. Not even slightly.
Had all the stuff out of the boot and took the carpet out to vac it today. No sign of a sticker anywhere. Nor anywhere in the engine bay / bulkhead.

Cheers,
Simon H

The sticker would have been on the drivers side bulkhead in the engine bay,yours may have just come off with age and heat.
