| Yeah been around a while that one. Have thought of sending them a q on ebay asking if they really expect to sell it for anywhere near that price. But as someone else commented on another thread here. You could get a battered favorit for nothing and do lots of work on it and get it re-sprayed and it would cost at least £1000. If that one's in perfect order all round then it may represent a good deal to a genuine enthusiast at maybe £800 less than what they're asking ![]() My ideal next car would be a favorit with low miles for under £700 |

| They are kind of boxy and were probably out of the norm with other cars which at that time which were becoming rounded. Bertone actually worked on the design of the Favorit in 1987 Bertone - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia I agree I prefer the look of the Lambourgini Diablo Bertone worked on, but I think the Favorit is still quite a nice looking car. The alloys are a nice basic 5 spoke design that's not trying to be fancy. The front splitter and rear spoiler are nice touches in my opinion, but probably don't make the car drive any better. It's somewhat unique and it's cool to be unique How about we get a white one, paint two red stripes down the side just above that ridge, and a Star Fleet symbol in front of it. In black paint or rally stick on decals, give it a registration mark on the bonnet and side, maybe NCC-1701D, and a space sounding name, can't think of a good one at the moment so I'll say Galileo Seven. ![]() ![]() Erm, ok, probably a bad idea ![]() ![]() Last edited by anewman; 21-11-2007 at 22:27. |

| I totally disagree, in my opinion a Favorit in nice condition is quite a stylish car. I prefer the styling to the Felicia which became more mainstream and "normal".

| Bertone styled the Favorit and did a pretty good job. Its easy to say an older less speced car is ugly or whatever but when you stack up modern Skodas against thier Seat/Audi/VW cousins thier styling doesnt exactly set them apart. They all look too similar. Id rather have an Octavia to a booted Golf though and a Fabia looks more individual than a Polo. Favorit in Group A or H trim was definatly a force to be reckoned with, and looked more purposfull than ugly, back in the day when Skoda made and raced proper rally/race cars.

| Good grief! It hasn't even got all the seats in it... He also wants £3,695.00 for an 02 Furby Classic with 35k on the clock.

| I thought that when I saw the description and mentioned it on a forum, probably this one. Someone pointed out the rear head rests are visible if you look closely. |

I know! I wasn't being serious. For the price asked, I'd expect the plastic to still be on the doors too ![]()

| I like that idea! get a white one and paint Starfleet markings on it. Then again I'm a Trekkie ![]() Just looking at that Favorit and it does look quirky and stands out. The Felicia does look more "mainstream" but it's shape reminds me of the golf mk2 |

| Hey you have a Carribean Green Favorit and in Leeds (/Derby), did I see your car on Friday 28th December at the packed out White Rose Shopping centre? I was in a red Favorit Estate at the Sainsbury's end. |
