| Briskodian | Re: Briskoda Moffat Toffee Run idea If you're in Moffat, you've got to head up the A701 - great drive! You should stop off at the sheep rustling viewpoint at the top of the valley - pretty impressive view. (The road gets a bit dull if you keep going over the top - could always turn round and head back...)

| Re: Briskoda Moffat Toffee Run idea I have a driving route, not sure on distance yet going out to try it in a couple of weeks, but it would involve driving along past the grey mare's tail,(waterfall), avoiding stray sheep in the road and possibly into peebles and back down the A701 down the twisties back into moffat for the toffee. Or another way I can think is heading to selkirk. All will be revealed in due course... Davy

| Re: Briskoda Moffat Toffee Run idea Cool thanks Davy, just wondering because swmbo fancies coming along, but being pregnant she may not want to come on the drive. Maybe leave her in Moffat while we're out and about. And yes the A701 is a great road, been on it many times. But it's less nice when your stuck behind a truck and a caravan.

| Re: Briskoda Moffat Toffee Run idea Anyways, back on topic, I found out this week I'm at a meeting in Gloucs the friday before, so it could be that when i get to Moffat I'll still be on my way home in which case, I won't be turning up in my usual vehicle ![]()

| Re: Briskoda Moffat Toffee Run idea Drat, would've liked to have seen your car in the flesh. You could drive back Friday night and swap for your car to use on the Saturday.

If i get away fairly early i should be able to get home on the same day and swap cars. I don't want to turn up in the car I use for work, it's embarassing ![]()

| Re: Briskoda Moffat Toffee Run idea Mk4 Golf tdi. Great car to drive, but it's had a rough time recently (been driven around fields / construction sites with lots of timber in the back). Inside's full of sawdust, the paintwork's kind of sandpapery . I'd like to point out that I'm not the only person who drives it, it aint all my fault ![]()
