Glasgow and Ayrshire

Think we need to get something organised for down our way folks. I would love to go to more meets, but i cant always travel to Edinburgh or beyond, and looking at the poll, looks like we have a fair ammount of members down this way.
Obviously all are welcome, so lets get our heads together and decide when and where we all can meet.

Cheers folks
Davie

Re: Glasgow and Ayrshire

We talked about a meet in Glasgow before, but seems the only "active" members are through this way. (Edinburgh).

Re: Glasgow and Ayrshire

What about a meet in Glasgow. My Geography not great but is Ayr not the same sort of driving time to Glasgow as Edinburgh?

Just an Idea.

Roughly the same Hannah.

We had talked about meeting around Hillington etc..

But nothing came of it.

Ah never heard that one.

How about a Briskoda Scottish camping trip to Arron or something. Don't think Arron far from Ayr but I could be wrong. I have just found my love for the great out doors.

Re: Glasgow and Ayrshire

Annan/Dumfries would be ace for camping.

Think Davy and i briefly spoke about camping before.

I know Kay would be up for it too.

Re: Glasgow and Ayrshire

Glasgow's quite a central location for us lot that are south west/west coast. Ayr's about the same distance from me to glasgow, it was just a suggestion as most from here are local to that area

Re: Glasgow and Ayrshire

I'm thinking Hillington would still be a good location then ... easy enough for us Edinburgh people to get to.

Re: Glasgow and Ayrshire

So's one of mine, but it's the one I tend to use [or use to] as it's totally weatherproof. The smaller one, sadly, isn't.

Re: Glasgow and Ayrshire

I'm pretty good at putting up tents. I'd offer to help but I'm not gonna be around this weekend

Where were we going to camp anyways?

Certainly dont seem to be coming out the woodwork.

Or, are they not interested in meets.

Either way, would be nice to know.
