Exclamation Its Been a While, How about a Scottish Meet?

Well, any thoughts, thought we could maybe get a meet in before Xmas, Willing to listen to any suggestions, ill pop one in for starters!

I could organise a RR day at Starperformance if you fancy and afterwards a meet at a nearby "brewers fayre" type place if you like. If not we could just get a big urn of tea on @ star lol. (And a barbeque as Craig is sh!t hot with a spatula )

the cost of the RR (not confirmed) woul;d be £20 for 2WD and £30 for 4WD iirc

and to throw a date into the mixing pot how about the 2nd of December?

Lets get a decent turn out

Again I am open to change of activity/date/venue I will go with the Majority.

Cheers

Derek

EDIT: Just had an offer from a mate if we all chucked in a couple of notes we could organise a few wee trophies Highest bhp/torque/cleanest car etc.

What better to warm up a cold december day than a visit to McChatburns drivethru Good idea with Seat guys, give it a few days on here to see if any interest is generated

I'll definitely be up for a meet. And i'm dying to get my new car on the rollers, even if it is standard for the moment!

I'm available sat/sun any week providing enough warning!

it'll be nice to meet a few of you!

Cheers

Think i will be in for it.

Might just get my car on the RR- just to make sure ive got the 130bhp

Also might look to get some ideas for when the car does get out of warranty (another 2 years if memory serves me right). Although im tempted to do a couple of simple things before then like cup holder, leather seats, cruise control and maybe some better ICE.

Would be interested too. Got my Octavia Sport TDI remapped to 180 but after having driven a vrs diesel mine seems slow. Would be interesting to see how much it has.

There doesnt seem to be a huge amount of interest, or alternatives if this doesnt suit, the closest we have is a couple fancying a change to a Sunday, There's no point flogging a dead horse so we could make it a less informal pub lunch kind of meet for those that are interested if you like!

I'm going through on the 2nd anyway, got the car booked in for a service.
Thought it would be a good idea to kill two birds but not to worry.
