| If I had known about this earlier I probably would have went. Only found out on Sunday at the motor show, picked up a leaflet all about it from the Skoda stand. The leaflet indicated that there were still some places, if you didn't get an invite then its £85 for 2 hours of road testing the latest models, refreshments, hotlaps in vRS and then 2 hours driving your own car. Why wouldn't you want to take Blue 82 on the track? Its actully a pretty safe enviroment (they don't let anyone go wrong, and nobody is there to break cars) and a good circuit for the Fabia - pulls nicely out of the bends. Must try it sometime |

| I popped over eventually for what was the last half hour or so of track action. The 2 dealerships involved had given some Octy II vRS cars (mainly petrol) to the KNockhill guys to take people out on, and folks could take their own cars too. It was mainly Octys (octies ?) on the track, tho' there were a few modded (1 I was told about, the other was obvious) Fabia vRSs and even a Fabia estate. Looked like good fun was had, maybe I'll join in next time. oh - and I got a look at the Fabis mk2 as well - looks quite nice in the metal, though still quite tall. |
