Review Scottish Meet 14th May Falkirk Wheel car park 7pm (56k warning)

Well just home now from the meet and can I just say a big thanks to all who were there tonight.

Tried to get around and speak to everyone but if i didn't well apologies but theres always next time!

14 cars there tonight pretty good turn out especially since the wet stuff decided to fall.

Look forward to at some of the photo's that were taken tonight.

Again thanks guys i'm looking forward to the next one already!

PS

We should actually go karting next time though instead of just a cuppa at the place!

Hi Kaboom,

First meet I have attended thought it was good, makes a difference to be able to put faces to names.

Looking foward to seeing the pictures

Looking forward to next meet also, 14 members to beat and hopefully exclude the Scottish weather or do you think thats taking it too far?

wait til i find that boat and i shall push it out........

to be fair though at least the rain was kinda off when we were there.

Who's is the black vRS who's done my bumper mod (cough I mean Star's bumper mod)?

I wasn't aware of any other car but Star's, mine and that silver one, who'd done the bumper chop for maximum airflow.

Well done BigW quality pics mate.

Who said that Silver was too common a car colour?

Since i'm now a Minority does that mean i get special treatment ( haha as per karting conversation???))

Re: Review Scottish Meet 14th May Falkirk Wheel car park 7pm (56k warning)

Great pictures Derek, love the last one.... not, don't get to see that part very often.

We ended up at Extreme Karting in Larbert and threw around some ideas for the next meet

Ideas, and post your thoughts.

Jim Clark rally at Duns,
A run / BBQ up Loch Tay way,
Attending Biggar next weekend,
Attending SVAG day at Trannent and putting forward a Karting team,
RR day,
Knockhill outing,
Club Gti at Kames.
There must be more, i'll try and post dates for the above tomorrow.

Great to see all you guys, prize for the futhest travelled went to Scott.

its strange that nearly every car on the road these days is silver yet you were the only silver car there tonight, and it seems 50% of scottish skodas are black! lol

Never touched NSL eh?
Glad you got back ok!
Your car was spotless too

BBQ idea sounds good. only question will a marquee (excuse the spelling it's too late) fit in boot of an Octy save us juggling brollies and burgers if Scottish weather remains true to form

I like the idea of a decent Skoda presence at the Scottish VAG meet, there weren't many at the last one, but up for anything next time, just need someone to organise the sunshine
