I ended up spending 10 hours on the Octy on Sat, dodging hailstones at times.

Removed all 4 wheels and cleaned/clayed/polished/wheel waxed inside and out, fitted new wheel centres.

Managed to wash the car, hoover, refit tailgate trim and polish bits.

Got up at 7 this morning, quick hose down and dry with waffle weave, then when at the meet - polished the bits I didn't do yesterday then got a coat of wax on her.

Did the windows in and out, quick wipe over the interior platics/leather, another coat of wheel wax and tyres dressed and finally managed to rest around 11.30am.

So all in I think that is 12.5 hours over the last 2 days cleaning the motor - well worth it tho she is gleaming

Well, the pressure was on with me being an ex-car valeter and all!

To be honest, I was just using the Show and Shine as an excuse for giving the car her bi-yearly clay/polish/wax and fit the wheel centres I bought 3 months ago!

Don't get this much time off from family duties often.

It was a cracking day only wish I had done the karting now.

Think I spent two tho three hours yesterday cleaning the car along with Hannah, not thats it's clean now with all this rain!
