Scottish VAG winter meet

Have a look over on www.scottishvag.com, their winter meet is happening on the 29th January near Kincardine, last year over 120 cars attended but only 1 Skoda, the meet will be for any VAG group cars, may be worth a 1/2 day out, starts at 12:00.

Re: Scottish VAG winter meet

Happy New Year to you both.

Did Santa bring you new wheels yet Alan.

Are you both still up for a drive some day just to clear cobwebs before the track day season

No wheels yet, Craig - the washing machine and hoover are about to die so we'll need to replace them before I get anything for the Octy

A nice blast to clear the cobwebs would be nice

Yes - checked out some roads today

Would suggest:

Meet at Stirling Services then head on to the A84 at Craigforth. At Blair Brummond head to Aberfoyle via Thornhill and Port of Menteith. Then over the Dukes Pass to Lock Katrine and Kilmahog

Up to Strathyre for a bite to eat and a pint Then Lochearnhead, and down Lochearnside to Comrie. Then over the hill road to Greenloaning and the A9 - then home

Round trip is about 50 or 60 miles at a guess, over some fantastic roads. If the weather is crap, it is easy to shorten the route.

Any takers?
