Skoda Meets in Edinburgh

With me and the girlfriend picking up our fabia vrs next week, we were just wondering if there is any skoda meets in the edinburgh/fife region as that is where we come from.

At the moment , most that go to meets just tag onto the Scottish VAG meets, they have one every 2 months in Kirkcaldy, and two a month in Edinburgh. The cater for all VAG types ( mainly VW).
I think we must try and have our own meets again though.

Flotterstone Inn on the A701 second Tuesday of the month, lower level of Fountain Park car park last Friday of the month (enter by the Western Approach Road to avoid mad speedbumps!).

The number of Skodas attending is slowly increasing.

there have been 3 so far i think, the fountain park meets have only happened twice so a lot of room for improvement on the skoda front.

how much advance warning ?
weekday evening, or weekend daytime ?

I'm busy this week, what about a weekday night say like a tuesday or thursday night, most of my nights are free apart from Wednesday, say give it a couple of weeks to aloow folk to commit to it, as I find using another forum club, I tend to give a months notice to allow folk to come along.

What about tying it in with a SVAG Edinburgh meet, but start ours earlier say 7pm meeting at Hermiston Gait. Then if only a few turn out you can always make it a better meet by driving in convoy to either Flotterstone or Fountainbridge meet area.

I'm not driving from my house (which is 2 mins from Flotterstone) past the ScottishVAG meet to get to Hermie Gait, just to come back again

i will be at Flotterstone next Tuesday, and hopefully Fountain Park on the last Friday of the month.
