I will be at Star on Wednesday morning from 10-12 noon, but I'm up at Star quite often, you could always leave the cash in an envelope with Jim and I'll get it from him if you want.

Bigw2069, let me know if you've left payment with Jim so I can update the payments page, the cutoff date is close as it is next Friday the 28th of January, I anticipate some non-payers so I post up looking for more cars if required.

The payment cutoff has now passed and 3 people didn't pay up, so we are at 24 just now, need one more definate, possibly two or three to make up the numbers, I'll ask Knockhill what the upper limit is, I'm sure they said 30. The list is now officially closed as I will be finding the correct numbers myself - thank you everyone.

Knockhill require names and contact numbers for everyone attending, so please drop me an email with your forum name, real name and a contact number please.

See you all on the 12th of March for some track action!

Yup, required for any time on a race track I'd imagine, Knockhill have helmets available on the day.

I have now paid the balance of the track fees, so the event is now 100% booked and paid for! Thanks to everyone, should be a learning experience and a lot of fun for everyone - and just remember you're not there to race people, just to have fun!

Here is the general format of the track school:

9.00am Arrival and registration
9.30am Safety briefing and all the ins and outs of track day etiquette
10.00am Tour of Knockhill in MG ZS's with ARDS Instructors showing you all the lines and giving you all the tips you need to know
10.30am Take your car on track and follow your instructor as the pace slowly builds
11.15am 30min open track session
11.45am Cars out of pit lane and all drivers back to briefing room for final de-brief and any questions

Great, really looking forward to it now, sounds like a nicely layed out day!!

Well done for getting it all organised!

Do you know if all 27 cars will be on the track at once, or will they do it in groups?

For the various sessions, you go out in groups of 8 or 9 cars at a time, then for the open session at the end you just go out when you want.

Hey everyone, hope you're all ready for Saturday! Please be at Knockhill for 9AM sharp, make sure your car is in good order this week - no leaks, brake pads, tyres, oil and coolant levels should all be checked and good to go.

You are allowed to have your club show plates on your car if you have them, rather than your road number plate.

There are pictures on club Seat and UKMK1V's web sites don't know if we could steel them. I have a video clip of a warm up lap but it's 20mb
Great to put faces to names, I also started a thread in the Fabia section.
