I'm in for whole weekend - hopefully bringing big tent from home for Friday evening (go oop North straight from work on the Friday - may even do a half day and leave at lunch...)

If weather is crap - Sod it! I'm still camping. The tent is 30 years old and is still in as good as conition as when it was bought...

Hoping for pub sessions on Friday and Saturday nights... in moderation...

Camping at the circuit is looking quite tempting, but overnight accom is yet to be decided.

Just to update, if you want to come for Saturday but don't really fancy driving the 230 mile route then we can arrange pick ups and drop offs at the end, thus feasible to leave your car at the start ( a busy carpark so fairly safe).

Also camping site is not far from start or end so a good option for Friday nighters aswell.

For the geographically challenged among us, is Owestry actually Oswestry, near Shrewsbury?

Tried searching for Owestry and couldn't find it

I'm certainly up for the Saturday drive out. Not sure if the funds could stretch to the BTCC aswell at the minute!

Look forward to driving some decent roads in the Fabia!

I'm doing the Saturday drive - after belting around it with Colin & Jon, there's NO way I'm missing that - Can take a passenger too, if they're felling brave!

edit: Paul - I like the plan - I can bring along a small barbie and some meats - but really my tent is the only big thing I can bring along (and it ain't that big, really...) Someone planning a trip to Calais?

Matt - There was talk, a while ago, about an experiment with your boost box in my TDI - This still the case, because I'm up for it...

Quite fancy doing the Saturday run with it, if it works ok

No problem Jason, you can have a go with it and see what you think.

Though i might want it for some of the spirited drive - will need all the help i can get to keep up with those Octys!

Oh right - your setup is remap & boost box combined.... I assumed it was a kind of one or the the other thingy - not complimentary.... By the way, keeping up with the RS' will need heavy traffic, from what I experienced...

I am up for Saturday drive, providing I can keep up. Maybe I can keep the Fabias company. Just looked up route from home to Oswestry and is 153 miles, so will need accommodation prob Fri & Sat nights. B&B sounds good. Fen Jr. would like to come and play (co-driving only!!) - any rules against or objections to this?

(might even be Eibach enabled by then!)

Cheers,
