Re: Blackpool Early Summer Briskoda Meet

Morning all... would of posted when i arrived home but i'll let you judge from the photo below what time of this morning it was after my little 'dart round London to avoid all holiday traffic etc!!!!! '.... yeah that didn't work!!! Oh well!! LOL

Anyway a really really fantastic day yesterday, totally worth the drive up there, a spot on break I needed after all my final college revision. Thanks Shifty for the fish & chips... never seen a piece of fish so big!!! Very good!

Great to see some old faces and see some new ones, no doubt like me... rather sunburnt now!!

Sorry anyone following me! With no co-driver i hadn't a clue where i was going... and that junction whoops! Sorry Superb behind me I did panic rather after ending up in the middle of a junction I wasn't expecting.

Anyway i'll post up the pics in the other thread later as i'm now off out for the day, again.

Thanks everyone

Re: Blackpool Early Summer Briskoda Meet

Firstly, apologies for bailing out so early on in the drive, but my daughter was not up for ‘watering’ the hedges as suggested….. , though I did manage to get you guys back on track after following ‘those’ directions…..

I think Col G will agree with me that it’s not a good idea to try to read road directions while doing 60pmh down a country lane, especially with oncoming traffic too…

Glad some of you guys liked the car, I was told beforehand that it would go down like a lead balloon, but tbh, I think he was jealous because my wheels are bigger than his (btw that handbag really did suit you )

It was nice to put some faces to the names

Re: Blackpool Early Summer Briskoda Meet

excellent meet. Looking very pink indeed.

Loved the route. (wasnt me who took the wrong turn honest before the ice cream stop) Trying to keep a nice pace but yet following the directions looking for road names isnt a good idea. lol

Well done Dave

stop it!! I feel really bad! I haven't stopped thinking about it since

I just picked it up after the third time you lot let it fall on the floor and sat it in my hand and stroked it until eventually the shock and fright of it's ordeal must havekilled it and it just stopped breathing

Re: Blackpool Early Summer Briskoda Meet

I particularly enjoyed vmaxing it with Tigger on the way home. 135 (kmh) with a good 500+ RPM to go yet. Poor Will could only get to 125 (km/h) uphill as I pootled past.

A good weekend away.
