Thing I don't get is Dave is happy to push the boundaries when he's behind the wheel, yet won't go on a rollercoaster.

Is it a thing about not being in control? Because if it is, I fully understand. If I'm not confident in the person driving me about I will be very agitated and unconfident.... However a rollercoaster is kind of pre-determined so it doesn't worry as much in that way.

I've never been to Blackpool EVER so looking forward to it. I'll need recommendation of a good B&B though. There and back in a day is a tough one.

Bed and breakfast wise, the internet is your friend. I couldn't recommend any, and I don't know anyone who runs one, so you are on your own I'm afraid.

Prices range from £10 a night in a traditional B+B, to a couple of grand for a suite at the Hilton.

I forgot about vertigo being a factor

Shall YELL for hotels at some point. Will have to chat with new employers to see if I can get half day off, then I can stay Friday night with possible drinks, and then Saturday can be whatever.

Should be able to drive home that evening.

I think the beginning of June is still out of season Loz. I went in June a couple of years back and it was all half price.

half price is still pretty expensive there!! (I used to work there!!) when I was there it was £7 for one go on any of the big rides (big one, valhalla, spin dr) and about £4 or £5 for things like the grand national (best ride there!!

Right, definitely coming. And will be booking a b&b for the Friday & Sat night. Luckily I have that Sunday off as it was going to be for Lornas birthday.

So, if anyone wants to share accomodation I'm more than happy to go halves/thirds, whatever.
