Is anyone (preferably with SatNav and/or a good sence of direction) travelling upwards towards Manchester that I could meet up with at some point on route? I am coming from Devon, but by looking at a map I can make it most of the way M5.

I am going to be in my new car, and will have only had it a couple of days - so I am not sure if I am going to be 100% used to it by then - bit scared tbh!

M5 will get you about half way, and then M6, M62, M60, M66 is probably the best route for you

How many Ms is that? I am really bad when it comes to British Motorways. The only one I have ever really been on is the M5.

E-E try www.theaa.com they will give you a comprehensive route to print out just using the postcode. Door to Door can't go wrong.

I am feel really guilty about Vlad - like I have been cheating on him with another skoda! But his MOT is in September and he has become really tricky to drive. Hates changing gear - takes 2 hands to put him in 1st, 2nd and reverse. He also shakes when I am stationary and in gear (foot on clutch obviously) so I have had to look at getting another.

I've been down today to check, but we haven't got any b-b-q's / oil drums at the centre sorry.
