| Re: Briskoda Summer BBQ I think wev'e established that there is enough interest in a summer BBQ so who's gonna take this by the scruff of the neck and actually book up somewhere before it gets too late?.

from post 19 on this thread Someone has all but said it .......but you will have a devils own job trying to persuade a camp/caravan site owner to let you have that much space for a weekend as it would stop their normal trade for two weeks (Saturday to Saturday) and they will loose a fortune !!! Best bet is a showground or field, but you will need toilets, waste disposal and a safe water supply....................and it does need to be nearly flat We are having just those problems trying to set up a BBQ and Camping around Marlborough........so good luck with the effort, we know how difficult it is ![]()

| Re: Briskoda Summer BBQ I may have some good news A friend uses the site with a group of ten mates, so groups like ours may not be a problem. There are showers and toilets on site and a couple of fields, so getting a corner out of the way should be possible. I should know something by the middle of next week. ![]()

| Re: Briskoda Summer BBQ OK, is this officially dead now?. Seems like alot of good meet ideas on here fizzle out because of a lack of co-ordination and organisation, anyone going to take the bull by the horns?. ![]()
