Elite1k will be holding its first national event, a track/motorsport day at Binbrook race track, N. Lincolnshire, on April the 19th 2003.

This event is open to all VAG owners and VAG clubs. Aircooled, Watercooled, VW, Audi, Skoda, and Seat.

Events on the day will include:

1) 1 1/4 mile track for 40 cars £55 per person inc £5 discount of a Rolling road session and a run up the 1/4 mile drag strip. Entrance to the event is also included and up to 3 passengers
(pre-book only)

2) 1/4 mile drag strip (single lane) £2.50 per run (pay on the day)

3) Rolling road £25 per session of 2 runs. BHP + acceleration tests (pay on the day)

4) Rally car rides: £15-£20 per person per ride, dependant on choice of car (pay on the day)

5) Track car passenger rides: £6 pp. This covers the whole day (pay on the day)

6) Show & Shine for 30 cars. Trophies will be presented. £3 per car (advance booking or pay on the day)

7) Car parking ticket. £3. 1 per car with up to 4 people. No admittance to the event without a car parking ticket. Limited to 300 available.
(advisable to pre-book or you can pay on the day)

8) There is a NOS refilling station available, so no excuse not to use it! £3.50 per lb.

A wide selection of food has been arranged, including vegetarian options.

There are two 20min sessions provided for the tuning companies to display their demo vehicles. You've seen them in the magazines- now see them head to head!!

The track is a mile long technical track and is suitable for all types of driver abilities and cars.

Cars can be shared by drivers, but a seperate track ticket is reqired per driver. Please state this when completing the booking forms. This will enable us to ensure that drivers are placed in seperate groups.

The whole event will also be open to the general public and we can gladly accomadate club stands.

There will ba a charity raffle where the winner receives "a ride of their life" in a Rally car. At present we have a Metro 6R4 available!

You don't have to regg your car arround the track, and remember there will be other VAG drivers there who also want to keep their cars in tact.
