Just wish i could see some light at the end of my tunnel of trouble. Good news is im not the only one with this misfire issue.Hopefully someone will find the problem

i've decided mate any ways, i HATE cars........when they don't work right lol

i was all up for taking the largest metal bar to mine i could find, but now i think i've got it sussed i'm happy again. It'll get sorted

Stopped short of the metal bar with mine. just.
Trouble with mine is ive experienced what it can do, misfire just appeared.
Still managed to keep up with a S3 on theA45 out of Cov yesterday so it aint all bad

Final numbers, as confirmed by Autometrix to me (JASON AGAIN

) are

SATURDAY 12 CARS

SUNDAY 16 CARS

Not a bad result, although I would have thought with such an ideal central location in the country, we would have had a whole load more. See everyone there on Sat/Sun.

After checking the list again, it seems there's 4 places for a Phil on the Saturday, and 2 spaces for Greg on the Sunday, so that takes the totals down to 9 on the saturday, and 15 on the sunday.

Ohhhhh it's getting close now.............!!!

I also THINK the car is now fixed YAY!!!!

Changed the Oil cooler today, flushed the system 4 times. Gave it a full service then took it out for a 100 mile trip.......all looks to be ok so far.

FINGERS CROSSED!

OK - Now we have final numbers, does anyone have any of the following?

1) collapsible/fold away type tables
2) BBQ

(we can't rely on awesome GTI for the whole weekend

)
3) Gazebo? (you never know the weather)
4) any bunting, etc - anything to tart up the stand - even a couple of traffic cones.

I'm bringing along a SHEDload of Briskoda leaflets that byrand did for us for the last GTI Inters, so everyone will have leaflets on their cars.

Just one problem, one week to go and our Golf is at the bodyshop and the engines is still in pieces....

I totally forgot about that, i'm going to panic buy but i may fill up may car to the brim. Then fill 5 or 6 petrol cans with fuel just to be on the safe side

I got enough now to see me to Brunters and do a few runs.

Will probably be empty by then though. Tanked up last thursday. One bonus of being in Bristol is I use the bus for travel so the mongrel sits there unused.
