| Last Minute Road Trip Okay as some of you know and don't know, my car is getting a little overhaul tomorrow. As a result it will need a through road test. 200 miles round Wales should do it, it might also be the same route for the big meet in September, so who's up for it on Saturday? 9:00 for 9:30 Owestry Little chef kick off.

| Colin, Please mail me with your findings if you have time, also any tips re fitting & thoughts on ride heights. Assuming the 4th leg for mine arrives shortly mine is booked in on the first but not with a VAG dealer so any tips would help, I would also like to go straight for the RS height. Also I assume you will be having it re-tracked.

| Stuart, Yep, same situation, went to 3rd party as figured they have more experince of "non manf" parts, oh and 150 quid less. Once I get the height (RS) then I'll pop it on there 4wheel aligner kit. The differences in soft and hard around that I can live with. Wishbone swaping is the single biggest thought. Must remember to charge camera up later...and if I was really sad I could pop a bullet cam in there and video the front shock for it's first run...need my drugs again brb.

| Disco & TaviaRS seem to think Wishbones can stay as per original fit. Once mine is running & I have the new wheels I hope to take it to Powerstation for a "Geometry Tweak" They did wonders with the Scoob, completely eliminated the understeer which is a traditional scoob flaw. It just went where you pointed it. Stick the Camera in the car to record the Smiles as you corner (I Hope !!)

| Stuart, Indeed from the notes in German and other sources, the wishbone swap is only nessecary for >40 mm drops, which is a lot...but a tad annoying if niping out on track...we'll see how it looks and feels...can't go to low, I ain't got and baseball caps...I for sure will update you though.
