I'm going to attempt to organise a beer weekend in the NW... (the lakes) for later in the summer..... negotiating with the rugby club for field hire (get the cars on the field, BBQ's ect...)

update, the rugby club owner is putting it to the board... told him we'd pay £5 per pitch, per night (may just do a Sat night, but if we did a friday and saturday, we could do a drive on the saturday daytime...) told him we want the cars on the field (no digging the field up though!) and BBQ's, though they would need to be on bricks to save the grass

if he says yes, I'll proffer some dates!
