| Cheers, Nick - The only thing that shuts me up for long is a massive sirloin steak lunch (which I plan to indulge in for Sunday lunch.) As for the little jaunt, I think Colin has some ideas (see the map in the top post on this page - I think the Staffordshire area looks good) PS I want everyone who see's my vehicle to anser my Shakespeare question, "to lower, or not to lower, that is the question!" | Jason, RE maps, hacked the URL , tis the problem with us techies, leave nothing alone.Want to try it...find any streepmap map page, look in the url query string: newmap.srf?x=425000&y=305000&z=6&sv=425000,305000& st=3&ar=N&mapp=newmap.srf&searchp=newsearch.srf Everything after the ? is called the query string. Eaxch parameter changes somthing, x and y start points for the map. Z alters the height, or in this case the squares shown. 6 = higher view, 4 = closer thus less squares... AFAIK your not meant to be able to get 6, mainly as it's a BIG space, but looks great on 2148 res for planning. No not really got any plans for driving to be honest, just if there was any to be done, tis a nice area. Des, might have to blag a passenger ride form you...ooh let the rumours flow. Looks to be a good turnout, and I'll pack a sticker just in case ![]()

| All I'll have to show is some phillips silvervision indicators and the sub/amp stuff in the boot... Will have to see if I can get the Eibach's fitted before the meet... ;-)

| Think I might have to drag myself up to this now. Interested in looking at your install a bit closer Stimps. Need to redo mine as it takes up too much space! Also thinking bout getting some coilovers now, but can't currently afford them. Have to start doing some serious overtime!

| TBH, I had far more grand plans for the boot than I ended up doing! :-) Originally I was going to 'sink' the various components into the false floor for a more "flush" look. I still have a sheet of MDF left, and *loads* of carpet (hint: Maplin's speaker covering carpet is great and v. cheap!). Was also planning on having some sort of lighting to highlight the components... Hmmmm... maybe I'll take a day off just to play around with the boot if I can find a day when i can get away (always far too busy here!)... Time to look at the maplin site again for a few more ideas (plus need a connector or two to really finish it off!)

| Stimps - I'll be pleased to see your car when/if its lowered in time. I'm still pondering over these eibach kits. So much so that I've been contacting every company I can think of to see if they stock them, and still msport.co.uk are the cheapest. My dealer has also not got back to me about the warranty issue. That's going to be the "do it now or in one year" decision maker. PS: I've booked myself in to Chateau Aunty up near Leicester for that weekend. I'm feeling quite a lot of anticipation about the meet now, probably because its the first one I've ever been to..? :bouncer: edit: Just gone back over the weekend posts (I don't access net at home very often ) The list looks good at the moment, and it seems there could be even more than below!!?Me (Funky J) John S (Stopani1J) Manny (Manny0) Des (delcac) Nick (ncarring) Quinten Fabia TDI Pete (Mellowyellow) Jason (Devonutopia) KLB Stimps DMAC1969VRS ColinD As for the promise of a sticker could make me leave a mess on my upholstery - been there, done that & bought the T-shirt! I have a slightly dodgy white stain on the front passenger seat. From a spilt pint of milk, not THAT!
