For me, this is a good mid-revision break. Exams June 11th and 12th.

Re: National Meet - Spring BBQ/Camping/Bunkhouse Weekend

Just a quick update - we haven't got the required numbers for the bunkhouse so I've had to cancel it.
However, if you are interested put your names down anyway - if we get at least 15 and no-ne else books in the meantime I can re-book. But you will need to be prepared to camp or make other arrangements if it doesn't work out.

Any news on the activities Andy? If the Weather is going to stay like this then the Octy v Furby raft building could be resurected from last year Nice stroll in the morning to blow the hangover away followed by a couple of lunchtime tinctures and then a good soaking in the mid-day sun ala kyak/ raft building

The BBQ Auction

To liven things up whilst cooking our burgers, we thought it might be fun to have an auction of car-related bits, in aid of the Northwest Air Ambulance, on the Saturday evening.
We have a couple of auctioneers lined up, but we need some auctionable bits. You know, the stuff that's gathering dust at the back of the garage:
  • stuff you tried once and didn't like (though there's actually nothing wrong with it);
  • stuff you bought in bulk and never got round to using
  • spare parts it turns out you didn't actually need
  • special bits for a model of Skoda you no longer own
The sorts of things that I can contribute include:
A litre of VW 505.01 oil for PD engines
A digital stopwatch
A collection of Swissol products for someone who wants to try them before lashing out on them
- small objects which will go for a quid or two ('cos nobody will have masses of cash with them). If you have stuff that you are willing to donate to this good cause, please PM bryand, and bring it with you.
Thanks

I will deffinately have a look, but not had too many years to collect car bits and pieces. How much will someone bid for my strut brace?

That's fine - the bidding is where the fun is, so we need a variety of items, and we can combine them if necessary to make bigger lots.
Keep 'em coming!

I've got a driver's side air vent , pd130 waterpump with 40k on it , a powerflow furby decat pipe .

All a bit rough, but I've nothing much else really.

This is an excellent idea

I pledge a OMP front lower strut brace for a fabia (vRS) - never got round to fitting it because i couldnt get the wishbone bolts out.

Re: National Meet - Spring BBQ/Camping Weekend

Is the auction limited to just 'car' stuff?. You may achieve more interest with other 'non car' items, perhaps some small items the children can bid on. Better still, let them run the auction as that WOULD be interesting!
