All - bear in mind if what Paul says is true, at this event you WON'T get to do any quarter mile times. Better off going to a normal RWYB day IMHO.

georg_rs - If you're in Cheshire make a note about the Oulton park meet in September. The dates are somewhere in the meets section of this forum.

USC was what I was referring to - I think day tripper and others might have been thinking they would get a run at this event....

PS Elvington is a 4 hour drive for me so would have to pass unless there was lots of notice etc.

What is going to happen there, just a meet or some type of track day?

the oulton meet is a bit of a gathering and a run out on the sat combined with watching touring cars on the sunday..

will be going to Elvington next weekend if people want to come along!

Geroge - why dont you pop up and meet everyone on thursday... not too far away?

Lived in Stockport up until May...which is technically Cheshire.
Can still be found lurking around the area...

Do come along to a Thursday night though if it's not too far -
generally centre around J6 of the M61, but we are looking at
varying the locations from time to time...

Not only that the Caddy was sooooo good looking too! (Tinges of Bugatti methought). Made the new Bentley look very ordinary. IMHO that Bentley looked like a stretched MG ZT - yuk!
