Hi Ross,

I'd possibly be up for it, I'll keep an eye on this to see if any other Jocks are interested.

Cheers

Had to move again (much as it pains me). This time to Nottingham, but I should be up in Edinburgh for the next couple of weekends if anything cool is happening.

OK, I think we should go for this Sunday (short notice I know).

I can think of the following places, Varying amounts of cool associated with them, Personally I'm ok with all of these.

Falkirk Wheel.
http://www.falkirk-wheel.com/

Meet in Livingston

Crail Raceway
http://www.crailraceway.co.uk/

Meet in Berwick

Anyone got any other good places we could meet ?

Well you could always try Crainlarich. It's where the bikers meet to do the 'loop' around to Inverary and back round.

I't would be great if we could get this to go ahead on sunday. I'll suggest Livingston as a meeting place at 11am.

I can suggest a car park in Starlaw Buisiness park. Just off the M8 at J3a

There are some good roads for a drive and I can think of a few places for something to eat.

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...up.x=20&up.y=8

Its the single story building called Elite Control Systems. You can see the car park from Starlaw road.

I dont want to appear forcefull but unless someone suggests a place and time, then the meet will never go ahead.

Regards,

Colin.

Sorry Gary, No replies. I think it's too short a notice for this weekend .

So I've removed the location details from the post above.

Perhaps we can reschedule for another time and or place with some more advance notice.

regards,

Colin

A bit far for me to travel for a day out. Do love the roads up there though

result!

Off to a wedding in Orkney next weekend - driving up the A9 - I thought it would have to be a sedate drive as one of my mates and his pregnant girlfriend were going to come - unfortunately they can't make it now - but that means I get the car to myself (as SWMBO is arriving later).

Going off round Sutherland (VERY top left of the map for those of you who might be a bit geographically challenged...) on the way back, althogh with the good lady then, so a bit more civilised - just hope it doesn't snow....

Ross, I know that lovely road. Like it a bit further south out to Appledore and then up to Ullapool.

Apologies for any crep spalling

Bummer, looking forward to a run on my own turf, off to Bali on Monday morning will not be back for 5 weeks, but will be monitoring the site, we will have to arrange something for early August which will be my last time in the UK before going to Auss, by the way taking the little girl with me.

All,

Would of you fine gents take it upon yourself to pull a route together for spring?

I guess with the good distance we can stretch to a two day run, kicking of from your choice...

Colin, I have a route

Starts Glen Coe ends Glen Coe, total 325 miles. Lovely!

I'll PM you the details if you would like. Its basically the one the Scoobynet lot use for their annual Tour D'Ecosse. They do it in a day.

Hang about it's the A9 so it's a sedate drive no matter what! Watch out for all the speed cameras, after a journey up that road you might have enough points to get a decent rugby score together!
