Is the 928 any bigger than the 944? My mates got an old'ish battered one, and I've always been impressed with the size of it - passenger legroom seems to go all the way to the headlights! - We won't mention the rear legroom - thats why they call it a 2 + 2, eh?

Very close, Mattijs - the door won't open so I have to climb out of the driver's door window. The garage is wider than the door opening once you get inside, but not wide enough for 928 doors, which are huge.

Here's a pic - ignore the state of the garage doorframe - SWMBO started painting and never finished

Jason, when you think that the 944 engine is basically one half of the 928 V8 you get a mental picture .... not much longer, no but hellish wide

No - my son's 106 will go in and as long as I put it well over towards the passenger side I can just squeeze out of the door of that. I'm guessing the Octavia would be a window job too.
