Went to Bedford yesterday, lovely and wet! A lovely circuit and nice and slippy. Why do people keep asking if my car is a 4x4? Maybe its because I was going nicely sideways round the slower corners and had some lovely 4 wheel drifts round the faster ones My passengers and various people who followed me have decided that I am the latest braker of them all, 110-115 towards a 90 right, when should I brake in the wet? 200m board, 150m board, 100m board, 50m board? Yep, you guessed it, Mr Muppet was breaking at the 50m board Almost span twice, missed 1 corner completely, at the end of the start straight, I left the braking a bit too late at 40m, hit some standing water and realised there was no way I could make the hairpin. Went straight through the cones (didn't actually hit any) did a gentle turn and rejoined the circuit.

Highlights of the day included hunting down a M3 (one of the old lhd ones) and watching him do an elegant 360 in front of me, being passed by a Noble and a Ferrari 360, watching the Noble do a 360 spin out of a 90 right, John Felstead power sliding it for about 200m round 2 bends and onto the straight, a P1 doing a 180 in front of me, Gossy giving the full on loon treatment at every bend.... Absolutely cracking fun in the wet.

Now looking forward to the next one
