Was it the time set (or rather not) by the same guy who drove the Ford Transit around the track?

Re: trax aftermath

Enjoyed yesterday Thanks Dave U fo organising, and Bengie the burgermiester for the hospitality

Track was awful in the first session, I couldnt find grip into or out of the corners. Second session was much more entertaining. Yes Q, those Skylines were a pain in the bum

And Baker, my eyes were drawn to your car quite alot. Every credit to you.

Indeed - the Superb looked ... Superb (and very clean). The lowering is what gives it the impact. Thanks for the loan of the bucket - my car looks like it always does AFTER a meet - very clean. Shame I never get round to putting the work in beforehand!

Re: trax aftermath

OK, so everyone knows I timed out my first run by not getting over 60mph.... Kind of confirms the speedo error as I stopped round about 62.... Made sure I took it to 70+ on the next two runs though. 7.43 and 7.31. Nice times I think.

Jason, it was good fun watching, and could not resist the picture of the time out. Did you see the Escort run 3.10 not long after you went ??
I do have a vid/clip I can send you.

Re: trax aftermath

Thanks to Dave for organising it all. Was great fun Basil enjoyed it too, and thanks for the ventectomy mate

Track was good, although I completely made a mess of myself only getting to the 8:40 briefing and then missing the first few minutes in a panick of trying to find the entrance And yes, that last corner before the pit entry was

Still had good grip and enjoyed it. The Supra (?) and LCR was damn quick on the straights though. But managed to pass a few cars myself so not too down from the session. And no breakages for anyone

Dave and Q, I have some footage (film and photo) which I'll sort out some time soon. Dave, I do love the immediate crash helmet off, phone and fag on as soon as you exit Nice driving too

Oh and red as a lobster too

Re: trax aftermath

Sounds like a few moments on track were fun...

How about a full track now? ...and after I've got this interview out of the way I'll sit down and think about a social for the saturday night.
