Yes, one or two pics then! Some good track action. I asume they are published in order, therefore, coz I'm sad, I calculated my lap times (once cleared some of the early traffic) to be around the 2mins 30sec mark based on the time stamp on the file properties details. I won't say how this compares to the Furbies! Nice pics

Wasted an Evo, did you? You should have told me about that one on the day!

Will include some pics but none of Briskys on the track as I was out there. Run time will be about 50-60 mins.

If anyone is interested on taking pot luck with my video and editing skills pm me - the video is rock steady and features red and blue Fabs and a brief show of the black Octy Est as well as lots of idiots in other motors.

Ron
Video is now ready, Run time approx 45mins and is pretty good quality. Chapters include:

Arriving - to the Brisky Stand
The Brisky Track Time - full 20 mins shot through my (clean) windscreen
The Drifting Demo
A couple of Sprints
A brief tour of some of the stands
Video of some of the Stand Models? and the Topless Competition?? - these are optional if they offend anyones sensibilities.

Makes a good reminder of the day, especially if you went on the track - though it is my slow track time you get see - but there is nothing to ID me expect my slowness - especially where I held back to avoid some of the muppets I encountered.

PM me if you want a copy - will only cost you 2 first class stamps, to cover postage and DVD cost. DVDs are DVD-r so make sure you player will play them or view on your PC.

Re: TRAX National Meet, Silverstone 02.09.07. Stand Booking

Sorry for the delay guys but i got back really late on the TRAX day and went on my hols the next morning.

Just want to say a big thank you to:

Jason for organising the tickets
Mark for the much needed BBQ
Keith (i think that was your name) for the cool Silverstone stickers - very generous of you!
Themightygez for your knowledge of everything car related - loved your Fabia!

Did Wardy mention name tags would be a good idea? I agree, as a newcomer i didn't know anyone and i would imagine it would be quite nerve wracking for a shy person. I recognised Jason from pics in his posts and postmanpat from Keswick meet (still dont know his real name (unless it really is Pat!)).

Didn't even know Wardy was there and the people i asked either didn't know him or hadn't seen him.

Its a pity the same effort isn't put into welcoming newbies to meetings as it is to joining the website, just a thought but it would be a big help if when you see a new face you introduced yourself and made them feel welcome then it doesn't appear to be so 'clicky'.
This isn't a complaint but i am sure there are alot of people out there much shyer than me who would struggle.

A big thankyou to all the guys who took photos and footage as i was too busy oggling the promotion girls (well some of them).

Looking forward to the next one dead loads!

Valid points there and sorry I didn't get chance to see you (mines was the black Fabia right in the front corner, by the gate ).

I was down on the list as going, so was bound to be around somewhere - take the point though, you're not going to know who people are until you've met them
