| Re: TRAX South Coast Convoy Gimme a moment.... Not sure where I'll be coming from. If its from Devon I'll be sure, if its from the north I won't. I'm kind of hoping some plans come together and I won't be coming from Devon. ![]()

| Re: TRAX South Coast Convoy Ok count me in. I presume it'll be early to avoid the queing fiasco. I think we'll meet Chris on the M3/A34 Steve, spoke to him when he was over last week.

| Re: TRAX South Coast Convoy Well seeing as I'll have to stay at a hotel somewhere (I'll be coming down from York) I fancy the idea of staying at the nearest hotel to the services then meeting you guys and following you there. Would that be ok with everyone? EDIT: Right, just booked a room at the travelodge at the service station itself with my mate so I will hopefully be joining you in the morning for a pre-meet convoy. Be good if we can get a few more numbers together. Any idea on the times etc.?

| Re: TRAX South Coast Convoy OK chaps, sorry but been on hols so been unaible to answer your questions. Right then, seeing that there have been problems getting to Trax in the past it would be prudent to get there as early as possible (for those with track time the briefing is 8:00am ). With that in mind I would suggest meeting at Chievley for 6:15am and be ready to leave by 6:30am SHARP!. On the way we will pick up Bengie at Oxford at around 6:40am and any one else that would care to join us would be more than welcome. As for the back way in to Silverstone I havn't got a clue but there has been at least one offer to get us there which would be appreciated. As the times may put some of you off I'm going to start the list again from scratch but this time I would like you to add not only your name but where you intend to pick up the convoy (hope that makes sense ).1. | Re: TRAX South Coast Convoy is that early enough? just wondering as it suggests being at sign on 10 mins before the breifing so that 7:50, we need to wlak there from the cars so possibly 7:35 that leaves us 25 mins to get to silverstone from oxford which just doesn't seem like enough to me given traffic etc i would rather be waiting at the gate at the 7am opening time possibly myself which means leaving oxford at about 6:30. remember i will have a trailor so no show boating round country roads ![]()

| Re: TRAX South Coast Convoy I would prefer to leave a bit earlier, just because the later we leave it, the more traffic there will be. Last year, I queued 2 hours to get in because I arrived just before 9, got in just in time to make the track session! I reckon if we arrive for 7:30 AT THE LATEST, then comparing to last year, it should be pretty much straight in, especially through the "back door". I think it would be prudent to leave Chievely at around 6:30, especially if we're going to be stopping to meet up with people along the way. How does that sound?
