Freedom was developed to help support Briskoda. This membership scheme asks you for a small contribution to site funds (£12 per annum) in return for which you get a number of privileges. Posting adverts in the For Sale forum is one of these.

Items wanted / for sale

Posts in this section are made to allow sellers to sell their items, and for prospective purchasers to enquire about them, or make bids or offers to buy them. Please have the courtesy to restrict your posts to actual enquiries or bids concerning the items for sale.

The following will not be allowed:

* The offer for sale of any contraband, counterfeit or illegal, or illegally acquired items
* Criticism or comparison of the seller's price or terms with other items for sale on or off the board
* Personal or derogatory posts about the seller or the goods being offered for sale
* The offer of other items for sale in direct competition with an existing seller
* Items to which you not have full title. This means that you do not sell on behalf of another person. This also means that you do not sell goods which you do not yet possess
* Advertisements which are factually incorrect or misleading in nature

Breach of these guidelines will lead to warnings and possible suspension from the site. If you believe the goods or seller to be disreputable then please report the post ASAP.

When advertising your car, you have to state a price. You are allowed to ask for offers, but you need to state what region these offers need to be in. Failure to do so will have your thread closed.

When a thread has not been updated for a month, it will be removed from the site, assuming that the item is no longer for sale or wanted.

This service is offered as a courtesy to our Freedom members. BRISKODA accept no liability for items offered for sale in this section, and any transactions are the responsibility of the seller and purchaser respectively.

Promotions

Should your company wish to run a promotion, then please email the details to promotions @ briskoda.net.

Please detail the promotional outline and exact presentational text of the offer, attach any images and state the terms of the promotion.
Upon approval and confirmation with your company, we at Briskoda will then add the promotion to the relevant section within the site. At this point you will be able to add comments and discuss comments raised.

This change is brought about by an increased number of promotions and a requirement to inform users quickly of all promotions. Commercial Links & Advertising Dear members, We have decided that to create a level playing field, members whose signatures or posts which have a commercial link in them are asked to now donate towards the site, in goods/services or monetary value.
