I approached this dealer for an extended test drive. I was asked to arrange my own insurance for this which I was prepared to do. Having told them that I was interested in the 1.6 the car allocated for a test drive turned out to be a 2litre diesel VRS. A very different animal and not what I was looking for. Despite a telephone call discussing this and a promise to ring me back to advise if and when a 1.6 might be available - nothing. Luckily the short term insurer has agreed to cancel the policy and refund my premium . I just hope that happens.

I am now disillusioned and am trying to decide whether to try another dealer or look at the Mazda 6 instead.

Had two warranty repairs carried out: CD Autochanger and rear parking sensor. No problems at all, very helpfull. Would go back again.

Have been there again today. this time to sort out the orange warning light that had come on over the weekend.
Great level of service. They also managed to sort out the exhaust which was great there were no loan cars available so the service manager lent me his PD170 Vrs. 10 out of 10.

Bought two cars there, SWMBO's and (because of the sales service) my own (company car).

Really helpful with SWMBO's when we had a couple of problems.

BUT...
Had no end of grief with my own, not sure if it is because it is a company car and they don't care but they messed the order up to start with, so I didn't get the free upgrade kit.

They gave us some money back but I stipulated that I must have an input for my ipod.

The car was delivered in September, it is now February and I am STILL waiting for someone to call me about getting the Aux in sorted out.

I have had to chase and hound people, they don't call back, and when you speak to them they are full of apologies, call you back once to let you know someone is dealing with it and then you don't speak to them until you chase them again. They don't respond to emails either.

Really, really disappointed with this dealer, I certainly wouldn't use them if I didn't live so close.

Due to hitting a deer which caused damage to the nearside headlight washer, and what I believe to be vandalism smashing the heated rear window I have had to visit this dealer on a few occasions recently for some repair work.

Looking around there seem to be different staff there to when I reported on my test drive experience previously. I have to say that the dealership is winning back my confidence. They have been most helpful and prompt with dealing with matters. They even put something through as a warranty claim for something which was probably caused by RAC autoglass.

I will probably test them when my first variable service is due, but that's not until the end of the year!

I have swapped my Octavia for a used Superb at JCB. John looked after me, gave me a very good deal and answered questions in a no pressure friendly way. Nothing was to much trouble- these guys should train PC World staff!!!
