Although the car is only 9 months old Hall's recommended that the full annual dervice should be carried out. This is more expensive than just an oil change, but more cost effective than changing the oil now and having the inspection in 3 months time.


There is evidence on the car that all the checklist points have been done, including tyre pressures, oiling hinges and filter change.


The car was dirty when left for service and dirty when returned. For me this is a good thing as I'm very fussy about cleaning the car and would rather do it myself, but it did however prove how careful the technician had been because there were no signs of the dirt on the paintwork being scuffed or rubbed.


The cost for labour, sundries and filter was £67 and my own oil cost £30 for 5 litres, bringing the overall cost of annual service and oil change to £97. Brilliant value and probably unbeatable in the Notts and Derby area. (I've had quotes for up to £185).


My experience of main dealer servicing before using Hall's has not been good and I was dreading the first service on my pride and joy, but I have been pleasantly suprised by good workmanship, fair pricing and friendly service.


Halls come highly recommended. I can now relax having found a dealer I can trust. Give them a try yourselves and post a review.

Just had this years service (20,000 / 2 years). Hall's have been very helpful again, proving that last year was no fluke.

Service was done in 2 hours and service manager came out for a drive with me to diagnose some issues with the car which will be sorted when parts arrive.

All in all good service and a fair price (£150 using my own oil) and great care was taken with the car. Highly recommended.
