Had the 30,000 service at Caffyns (Ashford) which was fine and reasonably priced.

Since then have had Octy RS seats replaced under warranty which was dealt with very efficiently - they even picked the car up from Canterbury and returned it after it was completed. Friendly bunch and can recommend them as competent and up to date (i.e. they know about the coil pack memo from Skoda uk and will happily replace all relevant coil packs). Ask for Alex on Servicing.

I second KentStu's review - by far the best dealer I have used in SE Kent (out of the four (!) where I have had work done). I have had two services + minor warranty work done here

Took my Fabia vRS in this morning for it's 30k service. The service advisor couldn't have been more helpful. The service was done in just under an hour. I had a breakdown of what work they had done and an explanation of the paperwork that I received.

Although not my local dealer, it was a refreshing change to go to a very friendly and professional dealer.

Thumbs down Re: Caffyns - Ashford

Just had my first service on my Vrs and sadly was left with grease marks on the rear of front seats, floor mats and dirt marks all over dash and controls.

I responded to their 'tell us how we have done' via email and Skoda got back to me within a couple of days.

The service manager has agreed to clean it for me, but having paid near £140.00 I would expect a lot better and will be getting the srvice done elsewhere next time

Re: Caffyns - Ashford

Brought my vRS furby from them 2nd hand, friendly sales team.
Took it back a year later for a service/MOT, they were friendly, helpful & kept my car clean and tidy & unlike the last time I used a ford main dealer they actually serviced it.
The service desk man was on the ball, remembered my name, remembered the stearing problem.
Not my local dealer, but worth the travel from Rochester to Ashford.
When the Galaxy is ready to go, heck faceless Fords have lost the game, shame to Roomsters too small, but Caffyns you're in the running for the Octy vRS estate sale.

Cool Re: Caffyns - Ashford.

well want to know how good caffyns really are?

My mate pat, borrowed her mums new car (owned by her mum for a week but on a 54 plate).
The car had been fully serviced by caffyns when pats mum bought the car.

As we drove down a hill in dover, a mercades pulled out into the wrong lane about 60mph in a 30 zone, as Pat saw this happening she slammed on the brakes which failed.
merc 60mph + astras 20 mph downhill climb = 80mph crash.

The merc was a complete right off, it didnt look bad until you saw the chassis, suspention etc. Pats mum's car, a Vauxhaul Astra survived the crash only loosing its bumper, no brakes and a dent in the radiator, was drivable.

best bit is the driver of the merc was saying pat wasn't indicating to turn down the side road, but when the tow truck pulled up, the astra's indicator was on when they started it up!

leading from the scene of the crash up the hill a bit, was all the brake fluid from the astra where it had leaked out. Good servicing caffyns! (NOT)
