Opend up just in time for my 60000mile service. Called and was able to book apointement for about a week ahead. Could have had a courtsey car if required.
Work appears to have been carried out as it should be. Was promised car would be ready in two hours. It was. Plus a call during that period to advise me brake fluid needed changing, was it OK to do.
I would certainly give a couple of extra brownie points for them picking up on an INTERMITANT problem with the indicator switch. I had only just noticed myself a couple of days before.
Was also advised cam belt was due for a change, Skoad changed the rules a little while ago, now due at 80000 or four years old.
So overall a satisfactory service with my money taken with a smile!!

Seems that quite a few of the staff that were with Citygates have rejoined with Sparshatts which is a good thing imho. Dealership now incorporates Subaru.

Had a warranty issue which was dealt with after a few hiccups but overall, recommended.

Went over today to have what seemed to be a noisy wheel bearing looked at. Chris the Tech took the car out on test drive and concluded that he suspected similar.

On arrival back at the garage he went to see if there was a bearing assembly in stock, and returning with a big grin and clutching a hub/bearing kit.

Now for the really impressive part - they did the job while I waited!!!

I am a motability customer, and as such can only buy my cars at accredited dealers, sadly Sparshatts in Chichester are not.

. I was however, in spite of the fact that he knew I was not going to buy the car from him, made very welcome by Lee Gibbs who took time and trouble to show me the roomster, and explain the differences between the versions 1 and 2. The pre sales service was 100% I'll post here about after sales as soon as my new Roomster (from Allams Epsom) needs to go in for its check ups!
I give Sparshatts Skoda - Chichester a 10/10 for the service and welcome I recieved there, I can only hope that they become motability acredited soon so I can buy my next one there!

A quick update on my above comments, I had a trivial problem, the 12 volt sockets were dead. I called in at Sparshatts this morning, and was given the feeling that I was the most important person in the building. The fault, a blown fuse, was located, and the "upside down" layout of the fusebox in my roomy explained to me. The mechanic (I stupidly forgot to note his name) then asked what I had been doing when I noticed the fault, and he took the trouble to check out my mobile phone charger, showing that this was in fact at fault! My 10/10 rating has not been dented in any way, first class service and attention to detail!... In the words of the Goveneur of California.. "I'll be back Sparshotts!"

Sadly Sparshatts have closed the Chichester Branch due to issues with the lease of the site. I am lead to believe that everything has transferred to the existing branch at Fareham.
