just picked up a 6 month old octy 2.0TDI, excellent service from the guys there, they have sorted out a really good buying experience, smooth, pressure free and willing to spend time to sort out the little details like transfering a private plate for us, and even a buch of flowers for mrs dai (taffs on here) on collection of the car.

will we use them for servicing? well, if its convenient as they are 140 miles away but we may well make the effort, but it is a long way off yet.

went to lht today to find out about the vrs ltd ed and the sales boys there were tops there is only two of them chris and gareth and thay were real down to earth guys,spent all the time in the world with me and my mate and didnt treat us like boy races or look down at us thay were more like mates,in the end i came away with a order form for a new vrs ltd ed and will now have to say bye to the old black one,well worth a call or look in very nice place and sales boys

Bought my Octavia Mk 1 VRS from this garage. They were very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Since then there have been several personnel change, however the quality of staff has been maintained so I have now just bought a Mk 2 Octavia VRS TDi from them. They had a great price for the car and also gave a good trade in value for my old one.
They always have time to chat (even when it is past their normal closing time) and you feel like a valued customer.
I have also had all my servicing and warrenty work carried out at the garage and can not recommend them enough. They have always booked the car in quickly and all work has been done to the highest standard with no fuss.
I would also recommend the body shop if ever you have the misfortune to need it. I have had a couple of minor things carried out and when it comes back it looks like new. Also all the work is guarenteed for 3 years.
A great garage- why can they not all be like this!!!!

had call of garage today just keeping in touch and telling me progress on my new vrs ltd ed fingers crossed for 30th of april cant wait

Had nothing but superb service from LHT. Buying was a straightforward no hassle experience with none of the usual "pitch". Had one service there so far which was also sorted easily including a courtesy call after to check all was ok. Highly recommended from someone who isnt easily pleased.

Car (Fabia vRS) was back at LHT yesterday for its 20k service. Top notch once again. Paul makes you feel welcome and nothing is to much trouble. Just cant wait to return next year to trade in for the new one should it appear

Anyway - 5 stars for LHT from me.

LHT Skoda has now gone so where do I go now. When is Sinclairs opening their showroom? I was told it was going to be by Audi in SA1 but i'm not sure.
