0% offer on vRS

I have seen on the main Skoda site 0% (finance subject to usual status blurb !) on the sport and vRS. I spoke with a dealer today, who will remain nameless, who says that will cost the dealer doing the deal ? Not going to give me such a good deal ? Anyway on the main site not much info on 0% over say 12, 24 months or whatever ? It has got me nibbling a new one again !!

Thoughts on this, for the free money are they going to knock lumps off the value of mine !

Re: 0% offer on vRS

Finance is for 24 months with a 30% deposit...I just paid Ł11,424 basic + Metallic + Cruise control. Also look at the Seat Ibiza they are doing 36 months with a 25% deposit on the range - FR130TDI comes it at around Ł11,500 basic (and group 7 insurance instead of group 9 on the VRS)

SImple answer, yes.

The offer will encourage people to buy new ones more easily and the 2007 Fabia will devalue the current model further.

Sorry to say it but the Fabia VRS will go the same way as the Octavia MK1 and will become a used bargain once at MOT age.

Re: 0% offer on vRS

If you're thinking about getting a new one..... sell your own privately instead lol... and then go in with cash and no px

If you don't trade in then they can't 'get' you that way

.. or am I just rambling again

Re: 0% offer on vRS

I take the figures you were offered weren't so favourable then.

Re: 0% offer on vRS

I just got one and put down 50% and got a new one (2007 model) colour coded door handles.. WOW ...

I have seen loads of 53 plates selling for over 8k and the stealers and over 7.5K privately, so I dont see how they will lose lots of value they will always be fairley rare as not many people want a skoda, so I think we will all do fairly well,

Also if the new vRS looks like some of the photos ive seen our models may even go up in value... he he he...

I agree totally.
Those poor dealers, losing money by offering 0% APR to get rid of the last of the old models, i'm so sorry for them.

Re: 0% offer on vRS

I don't think so. That's been asked somewhere else and someone said they saw small print which excluded any special editions. PLus the advertised 0% offer was only for cars registered in March, and from what I've been told you'll be very lucky to be getting a Ltd Ed that soon.
