| I think it looks pretty good, I can remember the concept car. Some raved about it on here and how different it was. Others felt much like the current comments. Now they have made the concept a reallity, the exterior is the same but the interior is more normal. Looks much better than some of the tall small cars out there. eg, the Yaris Verso. Here is the 1st Thread I can find from 2003. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/gener...light=roomster

| I Have definatley got to get one when my warranty runs out later this year, just hope it's to the UK By then. I Must say though, it's on paper figures are horrendous. 1.2 12v engine is supposed to be liveley, but hauling around a car that size cant be good for it, definatley the 1.6 for me. Is the newcomer 1.4 the FSI From the Polo? Such a nice looking car though IMHO

Anyhow, whatever everyone feels about the looks, we can be pretty sure it's gonna cream the opposition (Berlingo et al) Looks like a clever, quality little car. The exterior finish is very nice. There are no indents where the glass is for example, it all runs smooth and parallel to the bodywork. More piccies here: http://news.auto.cz/roomster/zeneva-...vni-dojmy.html | |

| Think its quite nice for that type of mini MPV thing - what would you rather have looks wise, a Modus? A Berlingo? If your in the market for a car of this type and aren't in to VRS type hot hatches that's an impressive looking car |

| Why are car companies trying to make cars these silly cars? The not quite a people carrier and not exactly a hatch back type look. They end up being tall and narrow, so handle like a fat man on a skateboard, and you end up with no boot space and cramped back seats. For example the 1007 (the one with the sliding doors) - we can't give them away! I think the most sensible car skoda could have done next is a city car to compete with aygo/c1/107. But give it a gutsy engine so it is still fun.

![]() I like that phrase "handle like a fat man on a skateboard" - I may have to steal it and use it myself My usual description of a bad handling car is "like a sheep on rollerskates" but I like the fat man on a skateboard better ![]()

| I really think a little city skoda would be good (not at all like the city rover though). I think the problem with the aygo/C1/107 and what ever that kia thing is, they look a little flat faced. The city skoda would have to look like a car, and less like a disposable camera. There also needs to be a bigger range of engines and more gadgets than the others offer, without being gimicky.
