| '57 Skoda Octavia II vRS - BARGAIN!!! - SOLD The time has come... company car is ordered in work and the house hunting with SWMBO has begun so I can no longer afford to run my Octy and a new car! ![]() First things first - she was imported from Malta, though is a UK Spec Model which was originally destined for the British Army and was purchased through Motorpoint of Burnley with two Years Skoda Warranty provided with the car, and there will be a year remaining in September. She's still on original clutch, brakes and tyres which I've had no problems with - and she is regularly topped up with oil (Receipts kept) I've spent a couple of grand on her to bring her to the condition that I feel she should have from from the factory like - with a few modifications that are listed in full below. Current mileage on the car is approaching 14,000 Miles - most of this is motorway mileage as I live in Liverpool and have to commute between Ormskirk and Preston on a regular basis. I'm in no rush to sell as I have the use of a car and my Lease Car will not be arriving for a good few weeks yet - but I have priced the car at what I believe to be a fair price given her mileage, condition and the modifications on her and the fact that she is an import! Price is £12,000 ONO Sensible offers will be considered, but when you read the list of extras below and what I'm throwing in for free I am sure you will agree that I am asking a fairand genuine price - I could sell the mods and satnav alone for about £1,500. I'd rather she went to a fellow brisky to keep her in the family - but if all else fails I'll throw her into autorader, fish4cars etc. Pics below ![]() http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1.../PIC_0032a.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...o6210/Logo.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1.../PIC_0031a.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1...0/PIC_0037.jpg http://i87.photobucket.com/albums/k1.../PIC_0026z.jpg Factory Fitted Extras 18" Zenith Alloys Jumbo Box Dual Zone Climate Control Tunnel Lights Auto Wipers Fitted Skoda Extras MFD2 SatNav with various disks (including the UK '07 maps and many European countries) Cruise Control Warning Triangle First Aid Kit Boot Net Spare Bulb Kit Modifications Revo Stage 1 Software (setup for 97/98 RON) Carbonio Performance Air Filter (No Intake) Forge Vacuum Operated Diverter Valve Neuspeed Torque Arm Insert Neuspeed Short Shifter Koni FSD's Eibach Pro Springs Neuspeed Adjustable Rear ARB Two vRS Stickers on the spoiler (Easily removed) Figures About 235 BHP and 270 lbs/ft Torque (The norm it seems for a Revo Stage 1 Map) and an average Fuel Consumption of about 38 MPG - I've seen about 39-40 on long motorway runs though. She's never been raced, and is driven moderately for the most due to the amount of mileage I do with work - I had big plans for her but after driving her in her current state I realised that was all the power I needed; a quick but still practical car that given another few hundred quid could easily hit stage 2! ![]() The Price Affecting BAD BITS Couple of small stone chips on the bonnet - no surprise considering the amount of driving I do on the motorway. A stone chip in the windscreen about the size of a pea (was repaired but is still visible) which I've lowered the price to cover the cost of a new windscreen. Finally the Stigma of her being an import may scare some potential buyers off! ![]() Included in the Sale Revo Select Switch which will allow you to switch over from the Revo Map to the Standard Map (I've only switched back once and couldn't be dealing with the extra smooth delivery that the software provides and switched back at the earliest opportunity!) All original parts included in sale (Original Gear Linkage, Springs/Dampers/Rear ARB, original air filter, original Rev C Divertor Valve and four never used Iridium Spark Plugs - an enterprising individual could return the car to standard and sell the aftermarket bits separately I suppose ![]() The original Skoda Stream radio with surround. Finally two lovely Briskoda Stickers in the rear quarterlites, Briskoda Beanie Hat and two Large Briskoda T-Shirts which have never been used. That's everything - as mentioned I am open to offers and am in no rush to sell - but please no time wasters or spammers - test drives or viewing available on request - you'd have to drive her to appreciate exactly what's on offer ![]() Somebody please give her a good home - she's never failed to put a smile on my face when driving her and I'm sure she'll do the same for you - it's my belief that this is the way she should have came from the factory and the buyer will NOT be disappointed! ![]()

| Re: '57 Skoda Octavia II vRS - BARGAIN!!! That's a bloody good price for a car like that. If I didn't do the mileage I did , I'd have that in a shot. Why couldn't it have been a diesel????!?!?!?!

![]() She'd be staying if she was... my mileage jumped up overnight due to work and whilst she is economical, she's not economical ENOUGH for my job as I do about 5,000 miles for work... and 7,000 COMMUTING to work ![]() AND I need a deposit for a house! ![]() Hence the Mini Cooper D arriving... ![]()

| Re: '57 Skoda Octavia II vRS - BARGAIN!!! Best of luck with the sale Paul. She's a beauty at any price - a bargain at the asking. If I hadn't just spent my pocket-money on the Fabia and on the 'Ring trip I'd be on the ferry from Dublin already. |
