You'd be supprised at the amount it can hold!

Do you really need an estate?

And the insurance isn't too bad, I'm 22.

Crikey, im 22 and i never thought i could insure that! You must pay through the nose, i really need an estate, selling mine to get the dog of the back seat so a big hatch would be no different, unfortunately

Large dogs fit fine in the Octy hatch (even with my higher rear floor)

Re: Mk1 Octavia vRS 1.8 20v Turbo - 54-plate - Corrida Red

yeah the hatch is actually good for dog carrying i find!

ive had 2 big labs in the boot of mine with no problems, you just remove the rear parcel shelf and its like a special little room for the boys!

the rear head rests act as a fence to stop them climbing onto the back seats.

octy boot is immense, i recon a smart car would slip in nicely....

Re: Mk1 Octavia vRS 1.8 20v Turbo - 54-plate - Corrida Red

Well, I'm in Preston, Lancs at the moment!

But my Dad lives in Newport, so I'm down all the time.

I'm paying about £900 this year, and looks to be about £600 next year (with 3 years NCB). Get some quotes, and let me know

Fuel isn't too bad, does 40mpg on a run if you take it steady, and 30mpg around town (even with the air con on).

Just had some little niggles fixed too - an exhaust hanger's been replaced, and so have both the front suspension top mounts - this made a massive difference to the handling!

If you got any further questions, PM me and I'll send you my number.

Cheers

You'd be surprised!

It's below the guide value, unlike some other cars. And it's in very good nick...

Oh well

Looks like the 4K i got for my 04 plate with 95k on the clock was a result for me. You have been trying to sell this even before i sold mine. Its amazing how bad the market is at the moment, a real buyers market.

Up for £5995, which is a lot less than some price guides put it... but it's a difficult selling climate at the moment!

If you wanna PM me an offer, or use the number that's on PistonHeads
