Just here and eBay at the moment. It's been on autotrader but I just seemed to attract 17yr old lads who had no hope of insuring it.

Mines been on autotrader too. All i seem to attract is agents, they tell me they have lots of buyers for my car and all i have to do is pay THEM and they can sell it for me. Theres so many good cars to buy out there and it seems nobody wants the Octavia. Mind you the tax doesnt help. Its only a 1.8

Ebay just isnt worth it, I'v seen 3 go for less than 2.5k in recent weeks and pistonheads is the same as autotrader, just chancers telling me that i can only afford 3.5k but i really want your car

Motor Market UK are the people who claim to have people waiting to buy. If you type their number into google, it comes up with loads of horror stories. I reported them to trading standards.

Cant beat the vRS oil-burner , after our trip upto M-Sport and getting 48.6 mpg i cant fault it , still puts a smile on my face when i drive it

Phil, I miss my old VRS that much that when I saw it up for sale a year later I did all I could to get it back but failed. I would have your car tomorrow if I had the money but unfortunatly I don't.

I hope you do decide to keep it, better the devil you know

Have you thought about converting it to LPG? might be the answer to your long distance motoring costs. I wish I had thought of it, I could still have my vrs

I have no doubt that I will miss this... I can honestly say that this is the first time I'm not selling a car because I'm bored.

I have considered the LPG conversion, it's very tempting. I'm put off somewhat by horror stories, and the fact that it would de-value the car (IMHO). On top of this, I have other reasons for selling. I would like something slightly bigger to give rear seat passengers an easier time. We'll see.... I'll probably have changed my mind again by tomorrow

Should be the same as any other Octy vRS, which i believe is group 16, but i'm sure someone else will confirm this for you

Thanks Ross, yes I believe it's the same group.

Mine is insured with a well known insurer. I listed all the differences between mine and a standard model and they recorded them on the policy. It made no difference to the price.
