| OK not a Skoda...VW Passat TD for sale. I'm looking to sell my 1995 B4 Passat. I may well regret this as its been the single most reliable car i've owned for sometime. Its the ultimate in carting your crap around, its huge inside. 70 litre fuel tank give a 700+ mile range (where possible) which is great for people that dont like filling up. Its not the tidiest car on the planet but its as tough as old boots. Sitting on refurbed Ren 16V wheels with nearly new tyres, 20mm spacers at the rear and PhilJ sourced coil overs with new top mountings and bearings she rolls well. Its got a few rusty bits, big hole on the n/s/f wing and rust patches on the n/s doors but these are all bolt on so easily replaced should you be offended by them, tbh its a workhorse so I never bothered. Its got an AAZ 75bhp TD engine, this came out of a 80k Seat Toledo and starts up on the button and pulls well considering its size. Will tank along at 80mph (where permitted) no problems. Car has done 193k and the interior has a few marks but cleans up well and doesnt smell etc. Electric everything inc windows, sunroof etc also has remote central door locking (two keys and fobs supplied). Has been looked after very well mechanically by myself and the previous owner (also a VW technician) has MOT on it until the end of the year and has recently been taxed (6 months).
