Re: Skoda Fabia vRS Magic Black with factory option Sunroof That low mileage from short trips might be a bit of an issue, Ian - how short is your mum's journey each day? Has it been serviced so far based on distance, or time? It does look pristine though, I'll grant you that ![]()

Re: Skoda Fabia vRS Magic Black with factory option Sunroof Mum travels about 8 miles each way on a dual carriage way to work so it does get a nice run at reasonable speed, car is also garaged every day................so no cold starts for it :-) Am happy to reduce the price to £7500 so as to get it gone as her new car has arrived. Service wise car has been done every year on time rather than miles. And thank you, as you mentioned it really is a nice clean example, even had it SuperGuarded so the paint work is lovely and bright.

Re: Skoda Fabia vRS Magic Black with factory option Sunroof Hi all. This is my first post on Briskoda so I hope I don't upset anyone - it's certainly not my intention too! I am currently waiting to hear on a potential job offer that if successful would mean a daily round trip of 60 miles. As a result I am seriously looking at a Fabia vRS for the daily commute (having previously been an exceptionally proud owner of a MkI Octavia vRS). I have been watching this thread for a few weeks now, and whilst the car looks exactly what I am after, and even more frustratingly, it's only a short trip up the road from me, I can't help but agree that I feel it is a tad over-priced. I can understand to some extent, as when you have a cracking car you do tend to value it more than what others (or the market) may. But it does look a little cracker. At the end of the day, any car is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for it, and lets be honest, at the moment the market is in a shocking state... Ian, whilst not wishing to offend, how open to offers are you on the price? As I said, I am seriously tempted to come and have a look, but I wouldn't be prepared to pay anywhere near what you currently have the car up for and don't what to waste your or my time. No offence! Please bear in mind that you shouldn't take my comments too seriously, as in an ideal world, I'm after a yellow one!!! What's wrong with me? ![]()

Re: Skoda Fabia vRS Magic Black with factory option Sunroof Ian, I still haven't taken the leap and purchased yet - still looking... Would the service that's due on the car in March 2009 be the one that involves changing the cam-belt? Am I right in thinking it needs changing every four years regardless of mileage? Finn.

Re: Skoda Fabia vRS Magic Black with factory option Sunroof Ian, Just heard this morning that I won't know anymore about the pending job offer till the middle of January!! On that basis, I'll have to stick with the current car for the time being. Good luck with the sale though. Finn.
