It was many beers ago and the seat (velour, from a Talbot Alpine GLS) was bolted to wooden blocks on the floor.

My mum had a Hilman Imp many years ago so that pic brings back some memories. Better stuff there than I would have thought but it did'nt look that busy?

It was pretty busy. This doesn't do it justice. The pits were full and the whole of the pit straight. No cars on the gravelled bit but the inner car park was heaving with the more modern stuff.
