Thanks for the chat, Steve ![]() Excellent blast home - followed the Octygone clan along the A4 to Hungerford, then took off along the A338 to Burbage and back up through the forest, then across the downs. Ahhhhhhhhh - that's better! ![]() |

| Re: Star Inn Newbury - Friday 29th February Nice to see you all this evening! Just got home! , and after the 4hr drive there , I'm not promising to be at the next one! ![]() Great food - hope you enjoyed my duck Q! ![]() Nice to see plenty of familiar faces, and a few new ones too... sorry if I didn't manage to introduce myself. The drive home was epic - really loving the new car, plenty of foot-to-the-floor action, and still 31.1mpg ![]() ![]() As for the roads nearer home though, looks like a hurricane has torn the place apart!!! Had to swerve no less than 10 times to avoid things in the road, tree branches, wheelie bins, temporary road signs... ![]() Ho hum, roll on work at 7am... ![]() |

| Re: Star Inn Newbury - Friday 29th February T'was a good turnout last night and great food as usual. Some notably quite long distances travelled to get there too, I think Carl doing the round trip from Wigan is closely contested by Tom not forgetting Babs little jaunt as well ![]() 31.1 - You wanna try following Steve and Chris for a while ![]()

| Re: Star Inn Newbury - Friday 29th February Indeed was a good turnout considering the drizzly weather As for the distances travelled by some of the attendees I admire the dedication guys, big Was particularly good to see a few new faces Southpaw, Niceyellow vrs, Moox and Clearway + SWMBO who I managed only brief chats but hoped you were not put off and will come again when the weather gets a bit better and the nights are not quite so dark! Good stuff
