Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 4th April

Can anyone recommend some cheap local(ish) accommodation? I need to be in Banbury on the morning of the 5th so seems pointless driving all the way home to come straight back again a few hours later Perhaps PM me to keep this thread clean for Steve.

Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 4th April

I'm now booked in at a Travelodge on the M40 at Bicester - £29!! Thats cheaper than the fuel to home and back!

Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 4th April

As in my post above I've booked into the one at Bicester, as it was £29 as opposed to £60. Plus its fairly close to Banbury which is where I need to be the following morning

Thanks for the invite Makefish. I haven't been on Briskoda for months (sorry) but I reckon I can make this next Friday. I need to refresh and update my Skoda skills even if my car hasn't changed much since the last time, apart from being dirtier.
