anyone up for a first look at the new superb?

We've got a New Superb booked in to the showroom on August the 1st at about 10am. I was wondering if anyone would like to come down a have a look?

I would need to know numbers of anyone hows seriously interested as I'll get some drinks and nibbles to suit numbers. It will be open to the general public as long as they book up beforehand. But I just thought a few SE members might like to get in there quick?

I dont know if its against any forum rules, so if theres any probs with me putting this up, please let me know!!

Theres no high pressure sales going on with this, just a geniue chance to see the New Superb before its actually on sale in September, and a nice chance to see a few brisk members again, seeing as my attendance at the regular meets has been so poor!!

it does not break the rules, in fact there is a thread somewhere with a list of dealers and what day they are going to have it.

i might be able to get some VERY cold water

might be as fast if they bring the new 170bhp version, i hear yours is pretty quick now

Well, what a nice car it is too

Loads of room for all inside and the twin opening tail gate is different!! Very comfy leather seats. The sat nav screen was touch operated and took little 'un about 5 mins to suss out

Added with the comment " Cool rear cup holders Dad!!"

The "best" comment of the day went ot an old bloke, who on seeing the car emerge from under the cover said "Oh, it comes in left hand drive!!" He failed to notice that it also came with a german number plate.............

Sadly little 'un got too excited with the morinings proceedings ( mixture of his ADHD and knowing I had only had 2 + 3/4 hrs sleep this moring

) and we had too leave quietly before he got too silly. But, thanks to Dean and Ross at DFMC Skoda for a good morning of " talking Skoda"
