Briskoda Booze Cruise Nov06

Please list names for a trip to Calias / Bruges for Sat 25 Nov 06

Last year was a nice trip, altho bit of a dissapointing eventual turnout given the initial interest.

Would suggest the booking a 7/8 am train out and around 8 /9 pm return, this is a long but enjoyable day.

Prices are as follows for the above date :-

06:00 - 07:59 from Folkestone - £22
20:00 onwards from Calais - £22

Any Takers ?

Re: Bbc Nov06

I'm assuming this is the Chunnel Steve.

Those prices seem pretty cheap - are they the per car price?

yes with the tunnel it is a per car basis.

I'm out of this as I'm not in the country on that day

I had 6 cases in the back of my Fabia last year and it was ok, you could fit more with ease. I will not be coming.

Thanks Mike .Yes we did after the rain stopped that is....Poor John is at the moment still driving home, with Vikki keeping him awake(I hope).
Huge convoy of Skodas Flew across France and into Belgium.Well two Skodas actually.lol
We had a lovely morning in Brugges then went to De Pann(e)? for coffee and cobweb blowing away. There were actually two idiots windsurfing. No not Steve and John.A stop off in Eastenders for the usual and a trip to Carrefors for those extras like cake.
Pity more couldn't make it this time.
Now need lots and lots of sleep

Re: Bbc Nov06

Well did make it home at 00:30.

Vikki did keep me awake - Reason we took so long I was a cheapskate - refused to pay £1 for dartford crossing.

Shame there weren't more but hey. Was a nice day.

Thanks Steve and Kathy (and SWMBO)
