| Briskodian | Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 6th July The pub's car park is going to look like a Skoda dealership with this many Skoda's parked up! Is anyone coming who has their Fabia VRS remapped as I'd be eager to find out who you used / would recommend. |

| Briskodian | Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 6th July Sorry for my absence on this thread guys. I have been aware of this meet but will probably not be able to join you as I'm away for the rest of the weekend and need tonight to prepare for some DJ gigs. I might be able to pop by for a drink or two. Chris... keep that engine revving! |

| Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 6th July Superchips 201bhp and before that custom code IIRC it hit 177ish bhp on the superchips RRLink to scans: http://www.mirror-web.co.uk/briskoda/scan0001.jpg - std/superchips http://www.mirror-web.co.uk/briskoda/scan0002.jpg - custom code (made for std turbo, no FMIC) /superchips I've got a pretty dodgy boost pipe off the turbo at the moment which causes limp to kick in sometimes, that is not due to the map as such though. Also have the short shifter mod done that you can see on here, Basil posted it, and it works well IMHO ![]() Not gonna be around for too long but will see if I can give you a little drive. ** Warning ** I've seen a rather large number of police checking for speeding motorists on the M4 (both directions near the A34 roundabout) as well as on the A34 near Didcot over the past week. Please be cautious ![]()

| Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 6th July Just remembered to post it - I've been working a few long nights and got into work a bit later than my usual (pre-police) travels, so spotted a fair few. Annoyingly I can't remember the unmarked Ford Mondeo's plates - rest were normal traffic cars ![]()

| Briskodian | Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 6th July In that case, I'll have to park mine down the road and walk up as I gave up washing it with all the rain we've been having, so it's a bit grimy. (I wash it in the morning, - it's covered in brick dust brought down in the heavy rain by the afternoon.) |

| Re: Star Inn, Newbury - Friday 6th July Well I did make it, nice to see you all. Shame I couldn't stay longer, had to dash back to work. Showing my need for Rear Parking Sensors retrofit on my car I kindly drove into Stu's pride and joy. Can't apologise enough, will get this sorted out as soon as possible. Hopefully next time I will both avoid hitting other vehicles as well as be able to stay for a bit longer!
