I tried in the car park before the Isle of Wight ferry ride, but decided not to as it would scuff both nearside alloys up in the process.

Apparently, someone can help with regards to maybe getting a cheap hotel to stay nearby on the Friday night. If they could and it's cheaper than Travelodge's £50, I'll be happy to have my ears opened.

Not sure about your last comment.

It might just be my experiences in Swansea that make me a little biased about Welsh intelligence. Seen no similar signs at all from any of our Celtic Briskodians.
