| Are there any members from around this area? I currently live in Newbury, Berkshire, but in 2 weeks I am moving to Poole, Dorset with my family. So are there members or clubs, or meetings or anything near by? |

| There are a fair few of us in the Dorset/Hants area. Rolling road meet in Portsmouth soon if you fancy it. Also a semi regular meet in the Basingstoke area which might have suited you better before you moved.

| I may even put in an appearance at the RR day next month seeing as it is less than half a mile from me and I am yet to meet any of your people. There are quite a few south coast Skoda's around. I spend a lot of time in Bournemouth myself. Keep an eye out for my Silver 57 Octavia vRS. Also I saw you the other day Steve (Makefish) approaching the Tempest Avenue Roundabout in Waterlooville. I assume it was you anyway, nobody else would be bold enough to have that black car with Silver Viper Stripes would they??????? ![]() SC |

| Having been and still am around that area there are a good number of us down in Dorset... A piece of advice for your car is to read the reviews on Westover Skoda in the reviews section on here before you think of going near them.

Two dealers in the area - Westover Skoda and Meadens in the New Forest. I've used Meadens before and are actually nearer to me, but westover have quoted me £130 less for a service and cambelt change on my Fabia! Are they really worth avoiding that much? Don't know what to do now! And there's a lack of independent VAG specialists in the area that I can see! | |

| IMHO speak to meadens or other garages and tell them the price and the fact that you would like to use them but not with that difference. Then I would think they will see how close they can get. After a Westover warranty `fix` on the ARB on the MK I that required Winchester to do it again as it wasn't done right, I wouldn't go there.
